Hello to all. Wow it has been nearly a month since my last blog. Sorry about that.
Lots going on away from my painting lately so less time to paint unfortunately. I did squeeze one in this week so I will share it with you.
"Past times' is a photo of a barn I took outside of Franklin NC about two years ago. I had painted it before but this time I wanted to approach the painting with a different perspective and interpretation. I am continuing to use mixed media on my paintings and this one is no exception. I utilized palm husk fiber from a tree outside of our house. Along with the watercolors I also used indian inks This is a 11x15 Watercolor on 300# cold pressed paper.
Short note I am doing a juried show with some other artists at the Art Crawl 2015 in Lakeland Florida November 14, 2015 At the Polk Museum of Art in Lakeland Florida.
